I always see some decoration hanging from chairs in magazines and catalogs, so I thought I would try it. Mine is just an ornament with some extra decoration. The first one, I added a little tag and a glittered holly ball and felt leaf. I've been glittering everything lately.
The second one, I made a snowflake out of wire and beads. I think it's funny that you can see me taking the picture in my workout clothes and the stroller in the back. It's a good indication of how I spend my time - playing outside with Sydney and crafting.
I have to share my great find for all you who love Pottery Barn but hate paying Pottery Barn prices. I think that really covers everybody! Target is usually really good about making Pottery Barn knock-offs, but this time it's Walmart! Pottery Barn has these trees that are just beautiful. I found mine at Walmart in the Christmas section. They have 2 sizes. The medium is $7 and the large is $10! I couldn't believe it. I believe they are a bit smaller than the designer trees, but for the price does it matter?! Here's my tree on my table.

Your table is so pretty! I wish I could decorate my dining table, but unfortunately Noah thinks it's the perfect place to drive his trains and dump trucks.
Thats funny you wrote that, Mythanh. I was composing the post in my head to read something like yours.
"Enjoy it now, Beck, the clock is ticking with sweet little chair-climbing table-arranging Sydney." Heh.
Beautiful. I love the ornaments on the chairs. Again, thats something we will not have in our home for a solid 10 more years!!! But lovely, none the less.

Yeah, I told her she can't touch the ornaments and, by the grace of God, she listened! She looks at herself in them but doesn't touch them. She usually climbs on and pushes around the kitchen chairs. We usually don't play in the dining room so that's really not on her radar at the moment!
I told Brad a dining room that's walled-in would be a good idea. With a door. Or at least a doorway I could gate off. You have to pass through the dining room to get to the living room, so it's fair play.
Brad drives me the craziest though, since that's where he plops all the mail when he brings it in. And his belt. He can't walk a few more feet into the bedroom to put away his belt. No, he takes it off and drops it on the dining table.
What kind of person leaves his belt on the dining table??!!
love the chair ornaments. that is a great tree knock-off! I would have been excited too! I need to be more observant about spotting things like that. I don't have the PB catalogue memorized though! ;) btw, have you ever seen a PB Teen catalogue? I got my hands on one recently and it has CUTE stuff! well, all PB stuff is generally cute, but the Teen one stood out especially so in my mind.
