So Aubrey has her 2 bottom teeth now. They popped up last weekend. It seems so early, I can't believe it. She's something else.

Sydney's New Haircut
Alright, I won't bore you with anymore vacation pictures. : )
Last week Sydney said that she wanted short hair just like me. So I took her to my hairdresser and now she has a short, sassy bob.
Look at this cute baby.
We had these ice cream sandwiches last night for dessert. Yum! They have bananas, chocolate, and heath bars. What could go wrong with that combo?! I highly recommend them if you get a urge for something sweet.

Vacation - Day 4
Today's travels take us to Stone Mountain. Here's the carving in the mountain which is the main attraction.

You can take this to the top of the mountain.

On the cable car waiting to go up.
The 2 babies so excited about the day!
They had a ropes course there for kids and adults. Sydney was able to do the little one.
Crystal and I did the adult one. As many of you know, I am terribly of afraid of heights. Here's a picture of proof that I was trying to conquer that fear. My heart was racing! I was only doing the first level which was 12' feet above. There was a 2nd (24' high) and 3rd level (40' high) that I couldn't muster up enough courage for...baby steps, people, baby steps. I'm just proud of myself for just being able to do the first level. Monday, May 03, 2010
Vacation - Day 3
Today takes us to the Coca-Cola Museum and The Varsity Restaurant.
Here is me and Crystal on the 2005 American Idol couch.

Giant Coca Cola bottles around the main part of the museum. Overall, it was a neat museum. Although we felt like we paid for one giant propaganda campaign for Coke. But I don't know what we were thinking it was going to be...after all, it is the Coca Cola Museum.
Matt and I had seen a segment on the Food Network for this place. It's a hot dog joint so Matt just had to go. I thought they were good. I don't claim to be a hot dog connoisseur though.Wednesday, April 28, 2010
Vacation - Day 2
Atlanta Stop #1 - Georgia Aquarium.
Side Note: Our first time to go was in May 2007. Here is the post. You can see how much Sydney has changed. Crazy!
It was fun. The aquarium has really great exhibits...and lots of people.
Vacation - Day 1
Ahhh...vacation! We just got back and it was so much fun. We went to stay with my parents and then to Atlanta with our good friends, Ron, Crystal & Addie. We were gone a week and a half!
It was bliss. And I've got lots of pictures to share.
Here is our pictures from the NC Zoo:

Family Pictures
First off, do you know hard it is to make a 3 yr old and a 3 month old smile/look at the camera at the same time?! Extremely hard. : )
My friend, Jennifer, is starting a photography business and I really wanted some family photos. Put 2 and 2 together and here's what you get. These are just a few of my favorites. I love the ivy in the back and the wonderful vintage couches. I think she did a great job. I love them.
Thanks Jennifer!

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter. Well, a nice relaxing weekend actually. The weather has been beautiful so we have been putzing around. We made some Resurrection Rolls that were quite tasty and represents Jesus' tomb that was empty. Great spiritual lesson for a hands-on 3 year old. : ) We did a small Easter egg hunt in our backyard that made Sydney's day. We took some walks, went to the beach, ate some sno-cones. You know - all fun weekend activities. We hope you had a fun weekend too.

Camping
So Matt and Sydney went camping in the backyard on Friday night. We just decided on the backyard because Sydney had no expectation other than a tent and smores. For a first "camping trip" it seemed like a logically location just in case Sydney got scared, had to go to the bathroom, etc. It worked out great. They roasted hot dogs and smores. She slept in the tent the whole night without any problems. I'm sure they will be doing it again soon.
