Heritage Day at the Park
They had a Heritage Day at our local park a couple weekends ago. Sydney bought a "ticket" and once every activity was checked off she could turn in it and receive 2 cookies. The activities included finding pennies in hay, sawing and whittling wood, hand washing clothes, soap making, and making a rag doll - just to name a few. It was a well spent $2 ticket!!

Best Friends
We were so sad to leave our best friends after our move this summer. We had lots of great times together and even got into trouble every so often. : )
We dressed all the kids up in there favorite (or appropriate in Aubrey's case) Toy Story character.

Sacked Out

More Cousins!
We met Matt's sister in Texas for a quick summer get together. Here is the cousins - minus the wee one who decided she didn't want to participate.

Well, Hello.
It's been a long time hasn't it? Sorry about that. I pretty much took the summer off to enjoy the girls, travel, and to move to a new state. It's been good.
Right before we moved, we had my sister-in-law and niece come visit us in the Sushine State. We had a fantastic time and the girls loved playing together - as always.

Happy Birthday Sydney!
A couple weeks ago our big girl turned FIVE! Her birthday was right after Aubrey's surgery so we wanted a quick and simple birthday party. We had it at a local craft studio. Games, crafts, running around like hooligans, snacks and cake. It was perfect. Sydney loved being the birthday girl.
