Disney On Ice!

Sydney has been taking ice skating lessons so I thought she would love the Disney on Ice that came to town. Boy was I right! We got to see skating to Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, and Peter Pan. Mickey and the gang were there too. Fun times. 

We'll see what she attempts at her next lesson. : )

Afternoon at the Zoo

We love the zoo. The zoos here are fantastic. You better have a great zoo with Jack Hannah as the director, just sayin'. : )

Train Ride and Farm Fun

 Matt's mom came in for the weekend so we decided to do this train ride that took us to a pumpkin farm. It was nice 45 minute train ride and an hour and 15 minutes at the farm. It was a beautiful day too. Perfect!

Caramel Apples

Sydney has been buggin' me for awhile now to make some caramel apples. Since we finally live in a place that has an actual fall season, I agreed. It's homemade caramel on the apples then dipped in sprinkles or peanuts with some dabs of chocolate for extra calories. : )

Heritage Day at the Park

They had a Heritage Day at our local park a couple weekends ago. Sydney bought a "ticket" and once every activity was checked off she could turn in it and receive 2 cookies. The activities included finding pennies in hay, sawing and whittling wood, hand washing clothes, soap making, and making a rag doll - just to name a few. It was a well spent $2 ticket!!
