Aubrey turns 2!

Christmas with Roxy

My parents came up to spend Christmas with us. They brought their dog, Roxy, with them. Her and Dixie have the same speed - slow. Aubrey took quite a liking to Roxy. These are my two favorite pictures with the girls and the boxer. : )

Aubrey's Christmas Program

The little ones just sang a couple songs. Aubrey just stood there looking at the teachers, the other kids, and looking for me. I thought she would for sure cry but there wasn't even one tear shed. Success!

Piano Recital

Sydney's First Piano Recital.

 She played Jolly Old Saint Nicholas...perfectly, I might add. : )

I thought she might get nervous playing in front of so many people. She didn't even bat an eye. She went up there, played, and hopped back down to her seat. Case closed. We're so proud!

Clifton Mill

Every year this water mill decks their property out with Christmas lights. It's beautiful red lights lining the ground all they way down to the water. And on the hour they have a light show put to music. Aubrey was enamored with the light show. It was a nice evening of cookies, hot chocolate, and lights.

Christmas Tree Adventure

They have a couple Christmas tree farms around here. We visited one the day after Thanksgiving. The girls had a blast! It was a beautiful day out too.

 Yeah, that sled is meant for the tree. : )

Aquarium

We went to the Aquarium Thanksgiving morning. It was the BEST time to go. We were only one out of probably five families there.

They had a bird exhibit (at an aquarium, I know) and Sydney fed the lorikeets for the first time.
