The "see-through" scrapbook paper (aka lace cardstock) is all the rage so I figured why can't you do that with fabric. My idea: a table runner! I was hoping you would be able to see the table underneath the snowflakes. So I took a big area of fleece fabric and cut out the snowflakes. It's all one piece of fabric. It took a lot of patience, planning, and time to cut everything out. It was pretty flimsy after I cut out the snowflakes so I decided I needed to sew it onto some fabric for stability. So there went the "see-through" idea! haha. Oh well, I still am really happy with how it turned out.

Oh my gosh! That is a great idea. And I bet it did take a ton of time. Very lovely, though. It makes me want to go buy felt!!
WOW! I love that! That would look really nice in my house Becky, maybe in a cranberry color! LOL Awesome job and the detail is amazing! You could sell those!!!! HINT!
Very pretty! I bet you could sew it to a sheer fabric and get your see through look, but the colored fabric is great too.
How much time did that take? It looks amazing! I love your 12 days of Christmas posts; I look forward to them everyday!
Christy, it took me about 4 nights working from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Of course, with breaks in between. This is how I spent my time while Matt was deployed! I couldn't leave the house after Syd went to bed so I crafted! Cutting out the snowflakes in the fabric was the most time consuming part.
